HOW IT STARTED...

At Duikweetjes everything revolves around the passion for the underwater world. It all started with the popular Duikweetjes Tear-off Calendar , in which you discover a unique fact about diving sites, sea creatures and special underwater adventures every day. But it didn't stop there!

Diving Facts

Jos de Schiffart, passionate diver since 2012 and NOB 2 instructor *, is the brain behind Duikweetjes. “ Personally, I always enjoy sharing diving facts with my buddies,” says Jos. “That’s how the Duikkalender came into being, and one thing led to another.”

One thing led to another...

Because there was so much enthusiasm for the facts in the calendar, we started sharing these facts on social media. Under the name 'Diving Facts' we are active on Facebook , Instagram and Pinterest , where divers can discover new facts and inspiration in the form of beautiful illustrations every day. This way, the ocean magic not only remained in the calendar, but also appeared in your daily feed.

After the successful start of our online community, it was time to grow further. The Duikweetjes Shop was added to bring the passion for the underwater world into your home. From calendars and notebooks to canvases, posters, mugs and bread baking — a wide range for everyone who wants to give the sea a place in their daily life.

Not all products contain trivia

Although the name Duikweetjes refers to sharing facts, not all products actually contain facts. Some items, such as a canvas on the wall or a mug, are mainly intended to bring the beauty of the ocean into your home. The common thread, however, remains the same: an ode to the fascinating underwater world, in whatever form.
